Juicy!

Favoritism: Blogs

Let’s cut to the chase.

I visit other sites besides juicetheblog (as I imagine the rest of you all do).

Here are some of my other most read ones (whom will have a permanent placement on my “Best Reads” RSS folder):

Offworld:  BoingBoing’s gaming spin-off site.  It’s a fantastic place to keep up-to-date with the most interesting happenings in gaming culture, both independent and mainstream.  Bonus points for having a clean design and good signal-to-noise ratio as far as quality/douchebag commenters are concerned.

Daring Fireball: John Gruber’s blog revolving mainly around Apple/Mac/iPhone related news, but often venturing out into other topics such as: checkers, writing, pop-culture and more.

Kottke : Jason Kottke’s “weblog about the liberal arts 2.0″ which is really just a front for a listing of the some most interesting pieces of multimedia and/or writing on the Internet.  Highly recommended.

Now I have others, but I’m really interested in finding out about some other gems from the rest of you, my esteemed fellow Juicers.

(Feel free to edit the post, or post your picks in the comments, I don’t really care).

I’ll throw up a couple. These aren’t really my favorites but interesting in their own categories:

Most Like JTB: The Internet Food Association – Basically this is a group of political junkies that just so happen to be foodies, so they started a blog about food. Posters include Matt Yglesias and Ezra Klein. Reminds me a little of Juice, because all the posters are friends.

Better Than Bob Loblaw’s Law Blog: SCOTUSBlog – Satisfying my daily urge to find new Supreme Court opinions to read, this blog covers SCOTUS like white on rice.

See, that’s the shit I’m talking about. I love the idea of foodie talk with a political spin.
